It was on the occasion of the Carnival of the 2 Rives 2018 that Guillaumit imagined these 5 interactive costumes to animate the head of the parade. This series of five costumes, whose technical study and manufacture have been entrusted to Zébra3, revisit the masks and the traditional and popular figure of the parade using current technologies.
They can be worn by people at parades and public events, or displayed as an installation for exhibitions. Each creature highlights a sense of perception to work on it particularly: sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch. The whole creates a living multisensory polyphony. The poetic device is activated by the meeting, the cohabitation and the interactions between these creatures and the public, whether in the street, or in an exhibition space.
